What types of metals are used in your jewelry?

All of the metals used in our jewelry pieces are hypoallergic, lead-free and nickel-free. We take great care to select metals that will not cause allergic reactions for our customers!

Is everything in your store handmade?

The short answer is, no, not every single item is handmade from scratch by us in our workshop, and it would go against our values to claim anything otherwise. This is reflected in the affordable pricing of many of our items. However, nearly all of our items have been assembled or modified by us in some way, and a great many items are indeed fabricated, assembled, and finished right here in our own shop.

Do you purchase items or components from Temu or Shein?

No, we do not and will not ever purchase or resell items or components from these retailers!

What finishes and chemicals are used in the making of your products?

Wood Jewelry Items: Non-toxic finishes such as water-based paints and stains are used and the items are generally top-tcoated with a non-toxic lacquer finish. We do not use oil-based finishes or toxic paints or stains on items that will contact the skin.

Leather: We use commercial grade dyes on our handmade leather products for colorfastness, however they are very safe once dry and we seal them with a non-toxic acrylic water-based sealcoat.

Other Wood Products such as Archery Bows and Signs: These products are finished with oil-based stains for durability and top-coated with high-quality oil-based or water-based urethane depending on the application. All of these finishes are basically food-safe when cured so you can use your bow as a giant meat fork if desired when you are out camping in the forest!
